2008 Addendum to 2007 Overview:
Message from the Founder:
The Neutral Development Project outdid itself in 2008. Through three major initiatives, we were able to raise $11,417, more than double the amount raised in 2007! $10,000 of that went to Water Partners, and the remaining amount was kept as 2009 working capital. 2009 shows much promise, with Jared Peterson taking on the Director role. We hope to continue our growth trajectory with even greater turnouts for the golf tournament and benefit (both scheduled for mid-Fall) than we saw in 2008, but currently NDP is focusing its energies on sponsoring racers for the 2009 Boston Marathon. Go Team NDP!

Overview of 2007 operations for The Neutral Development Project:
Message from the founder:
2007 was a formative year for The Neutral Development Project. We built our team of members, sustained an informative website, and had three successful fundraising events. Despite the high costs of establishing a non-profit business, our efficient operations generated a net of greater than $5,000, enabling us to fund an irrigation project in Tigray, Ethiopia. All of this was done while addressing the challenges associated with achieving official 501c3 non-profit status in a hyper-regulated post 9/11 tax environment. Thanks and congratulations are in order to all those involved.
