Rich Downing, Founder, Chairman
Rich graduated from Colby College, where he majored in Economics. In 2006, he founded The Neutral Development Project. Rich founded NDP while working for an Aerospace and Defense consulting group in Cambridge, MA. Rich is currently pursuing his MBA at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Jared Peterson, Managing Director
Jared graduated from Boston College with a BS in Management with a concentration in Finance and from Babson College with an MS in Management with a concentration in Finance. He has spent 4+ years working for Alcatel-Lucent, formerly Lucent Technologies, where he is currently an Investment Analyst on the Alternatives team with the company’s pension fund in Boston, MA.
Patrick Semmens, Director - webmaster/advisor
Patrick also went to Colby College and majored in Government. His senior seminar paper titled “Development, Growth And Economic Freedom” discussed necessary steps to lift under-developed regions out of poverty. In 2002, Patrick taught English in a small village in the Ashanti region of Ghana, where he oversaw the construction of a school built with private funds Patrick raised prior to his trip. Currently Patrick works for the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation based in Washington, DC.
